The UNN Business School (UNNBIS) is a graduate business school owned by the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria’s indigenous premier university. It was incorporated and started operations in 2018. The school is located at the Enugu campus of the University of Nigeria. UNNIBIS is governed by a board chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, while the day-to-day activities of the school are overseen by a management team led by a Director.
The vision of UNNIBIS is to be an undisputed world class leading business school. Our mission is to produce a crop of outstanding professional graduates who would drive entrepreneurship development in Nigeria, the African continent and beyond, providing consultancy services to individuals business and organizations. In line with our mission and vision, our core values are: ethics and integrity; academic and professional freedom; and meritocracy and service excellence.
UNNBIS offers Executive Masters and Doctoral programs as well as certified trainings, consultancy and research services. UNNBIS pioneered the teaching and award of executive doctoral degrees by any business school in Nigeria. Our courses are varied and address contemporary issues relevant to the domestic and global business and economic environment.
UNNBIS adopts a learning approach which blends theory and practice. Consequently, our faculty is made up individuals from academia and industry who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavors. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, and are active players in the economy, as well as captains of industries and public institutions.
UNNIBIS offers an impressive blend of onsite-learning and online interactions in a variety of innovative formats giving our participants access to the unique UNNBIS experience both within Nigeria and internationally. Leveraging on this capacity for a holistic learning delivery, we equip individuals, teams and organizations with the skills to succeed.

Ifeoma C. Nwakoby (Ph.D) is the Coordinator of the Executive Master’s Programme of the UNN Business School, Nigeria. She is a Senior Lecturer, and the Head, Department of Banking and Finance, UNN. She is also a Chartered Accountant and has worked in various capacities in the private and public sectors.
